Web Purchase Returns/Web Purchase Exchanges

Fossil (Australia) Pty Ltd (ACN 072 935 614) ("Fossil" / "we" / "us") is committed to making your shopping experience a success and trusts that you will be happy with your purchase. However, if the product is faulty or significantly different to that described or if you simply change your mind and are not 100% happy with your purchase, we are happy to provide you with a refund or exchange. Please follow the steps outlined below.

This policy does not alter any of your statutory rights under the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth).

Faulty products or products that are significantly different to that described

If the product is faulty or significantly different to that described, we are happy to exchange the product or provide you with a refund, within 14 days of receipt of the product, as detailed below.

Returns

To return your faulty / significantly different product for a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Within 14 days of receipt of the product:
  2. Package the product to be returned in a well-sealed box (preferably the one it was delivered in) together with:
    • the original or a copy of the Packing Slip (if there is more than one item on the Packing slip, identify on the Packing slip which item is being returned)
    • a copy of the dated proof of receipt
  3. Post the product by Registered Post to us at:

  4. Upon receipt of the returned product, we will assess whether the product is faulty or significantly different to that shown or described to you. If the product is faulty or significantly different to that shown or described to you, we will refund the original purchase price of the returned item within 30 days. Refunds will be credited only to the card used to make the original payment.

Exchanges
To return your faulty / significantly different product for an exchange, please follow these steps:

  1. Within 14 days of receipt of the product:
  2. Package the product to be returned in a well-sealed box (preferably the one it was delivered in) together with:
    • the original or a copy of the Packing Slip (if there is more than one item on the Packing slip, identify on the Packing slip which item is being returned)
    • a copy of the dated proof of receipt, and
  3. Post the product by Registered Post to us at:

  5. Upon receipt of the returned product, we will assess whether the product is faulty or significantly different to that shown or described to you. If the product is faulty or significantly different to that described we will:
  • exchange the product with an identical product; or
  • exchange the product with the new item requested; and
  • credit the original card the original purchase price of the returned item and debit the original card for the value of the new item.
If the new item requested is not available, we will contact you for instructions.

Change of Mind

If you change your mind and are not 100% happy with your purchase, we will provide you with a refund or exchange provided that:

  • the product is unused and in its original packaging;
  • the product hasn't been personalised at your request;
  • you return the product to us within 14 days of receipt of the product; and
  • you retain a copy of the:
    • original Delivery Note or Packing Slip, and
    • dated proof of receipt.

Refunds

If you change your mind and are not 100% happy with your purchase please follow the instructions above under the heading 'refunds' for a refund.

Upon receipt of the product we will assess if the product is in its original and unused condition. If the product to be returned is not in its original and unused condition, we will contact you and arrange to send the product back to you. If you do not respond within 14 days, we will just send the product back to you.

Exchanges

If you change your mind and are not 100% happy with your purchase, please follow the instructions above under the heading 'exchanges' for an exchange.

Upon receipt of the product we will assess if the product is in its original and unused condition. If the product to be exchanged is not in its original and unused condition, we will contact you and arrange to send the product back to you. If you do not respond within 14 days, we will just send the product back to you.

Returns & Exchanges Generally

We recommend that all returns and exchanges be sent via a trackable carrier such as DHL and be insured for loss and damage. Products should also be returned to us by a method that requires a signature from us to acknowledge our receipt of the returned Products. Alternatively, we can arrange for the collection of returned products at your cost. Fossil does not accept any responsibility for packages lost in transit.

Please note that you must pay for the cost of postage of returned and exchanged products unless the product is faulty or significantly different from that described; in these cases Fossil Australia Pty will refund any reasonable charges of postage to your credit card upon receipt and assessment of the faulty or significantly different product.
